Campack Coaching, an online coaching business operating in Australia. This policy covers join.campack.co - the page where you apply for coaching - and explains what we collect there, why, and who else sees it.
We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Only what you type, plus the technical basics every website receives.
We do not ask for and do not want health records, payment details, or government identifiers through this page.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to other coaches or businesses to market to you.
We use a small number of services to run this page. Each one only receives what it needs.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, so we need to know which adverts lead to applications. Two things happen when you apply.
The Meta pixel on this page reports that an application was made. Separately, our server tells Meta the same thing directly, so the count stays accurate even if your browser blocks the first one.
Your email address and phone number are included in that server message - scrambled first, using a one-way process that Meta uses to check whether you already have an account with them. Meta cannot read the original values, and we never send your name, your goals, or anything you wrote to us.
Meta uses this to measure our adverts and may use it to show you ours or similar ones. You can control that through your Meta ad preferences, and you can stop it here entirely by using a browser or extension that blocks trackers - the form still works.
This page sets cookies for analytics and advertising measurement, as described above. It does not need cookies to function: blocking them will not stop you applying, and your application will still reach us.
This privacy page carries no tracking at all. Reading it is not an event we measure.
If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we coach you and for seven years afterwards, which is how long Australian business records must be held.
If you do not, we keep your application for up to two years in case you come back to us, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Applications travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in a database that only your coach can reach. No system is perfect, but we do not keep what we do not need, and access is limited to the people who have to have it.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious on the page rather than buried.
